Surface Web :
The Surface Web (also called the Visible Web, Indexed Web, Indexable Web or Lightnet) is the portion of the WORLD WIDE WEB that is readily available to the general public and searchable with standard web search engines.
The Surface Web is what users access in their regular day-to-day activities. It is available to the general public using standerd using standard web browsers that do not require any special configuration, such as Mozilla Firebox, Microsoft Internet Explorer or Edge, and Google Chrome.
Deep Web :
The deep web refers to parts of the Internet not fully accessible through standard search engines like Google , Yahoo, and Bing. The deep web includes pages that were not indexed, fee-for-services (FFS) sites, private databases, and the dark web.
It is used for keeping internet activity anonymous and private, which can be helpful in both legal & illegal applications. While some use it to evade government censorship, it has aslo been known to be utilized for highly illegal activity.
Dark Web :
The dark web consists of websites that, while on the public internet, require specific software for access. These sites are not indexed by search engines to ensure anonymity. The stolen data is traded, sold, and used for financial, political, or personal gain.
Using TOR or visiting the Dark Web are not unlawful in themselves. It is of course illegal to carry out illegal acts anonymously, such as accessing child abuse images, promoting terrorism, or selling illegal items such as weapons.
Here are the precautions that we need to take before visiting dark web :
1. A COMPLETELY NEW MACHINE (LAPTOP/MOBILE) :

4. CONFIGURE YOUR TOR :
Configure your TOR security setting to advanced :
- Make sure to disable Javascript
- Make sure to disable Cookies & site data
- Configure TOR exit nodes correctly.
