GNU Linux and Termux | about SSH | about VNC

 Basic Concepts to understand

Hello, guys so in this blog I am going to tell you about the GNU Linux project, and a little bit about Termux, SSH, and VNC. 

GNU Linux :

The GNU Linux project is developed because it provides us with a comprehensive set of tools that we can use in Unix and Unix Based Operating Systems. Using this tool can give us functionality like Copying and removing files from the file system. we can also compile and edit our variety of document formats. 

Termux : 

This tool is best because it provides a powerful Linux terminal for your Android device with an extensive package collection. There are some benefits of this tool listed below:

• You can use the bash and zsh shells directly on your Android device.
• It provides you access to SSH servers directly on your Android Device.
• You can code in python using your Android device.

You can install it by clicking here.

Like in the Linux shell, you can type commands In it and do what you want. Just type "pkg list" it shows you the number of packages you can use in your termux. you can install it by typing "pkg install (package name)". You find many more commands in it just try it by yourself.

SSH :

SSH is a protocol. Full Form of SSH Secure Shell. You can remotely log in from one device to another securely. It provides us various options that we can use to enhance our protection. It is a secure protocol and an alternative to non-protected login protocols and insecure FTP ( File Transfer Protocols ) methods.

• You can use it for providing secure access to users.
• You can securely Transfer files.
• It manages network infrastructure.

The SSH protocol works in the client-server model, which means a connection can be established by the SSH client to the SSH server.

To use it Download SSH by clicking here.

After it is downloaded just open it >> Go to  identity >> click on "+" icon >> Now enter the required fields >> Go to connection >> add new connections >> Now enter the required fields >> click on connection >> Accept the permissions >> Your SSH server is on

Now you have access to your kali machine.

VNC :

VNC means Virtual Network Computing. It is used for GUI desktop sharing using RFB (Remote Frame Buffer) to control another computer. It enables us to use the keyboard and mouse of another device. This works on a client-server protocol. To use it simply download it by clicking here.

Follow the steps listed below to use the VNC server.

Open the search bar and search VNC >> start the VNC >> Open your android device >> Download VNC viewer on play store >> Open the app Accept permissions >> click on the "+" symbol Then you need to fill up your device name and IP address >> for that just open terminal and Type " ifconfig " >> Create a connection and connect it >> Give it your VNC server.

Done you can use the VNC server.
